Prof. Dr. Hızır Tarık Oğuzlu

Prof. Dr. Tarık Oğuzlu is currently a faculty member of the Department of Political Science and International Relations and the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Literature at Istanbul Aydin University. He served as the Chair of the Department of Political Science and International Relations and Director of the Center for Social, Economic and Political Research (SEPAM) at Antalya Bilim University between 2012 and 2020. He was a faculty member of the Department of International Relations at Bilkent University between 2004 and 2011. He got his Ph.D. degree in Intenational Relations at Bilkent University in 2003. He got his Master of Science degree in International Relations at The London School of Economics and Political Science in 2000 and his Master of Arts degree in International Relations at Bilkent University in 1998. He was granted the Jean Monnet Scholarship of the European Commission in 1999.

Dr. Osman Gultekin

Osman Gultekin, Ph.D., serves as the Vice Director of International Relations, Assistant Professor in Political Science and International Relations, and Chair on UNESCO Culture Diplomacy, Governance, and Education at Istanbul Aydin University. He is also the Country Director at the STAR Scholars Network.
Gultekin has over 20 years of experience in international education and youth travel, advising more than 10,000 students and visiting over 50 countries. He holds degrees from Bogazici and Bahcesehir Universities and completed post-doctoral studies at Carleton University.
His scholarly work focuses on International Relations Theories, Public Diplomacy, Foreign Policy, and the internationalization of higher education. He has authored the “Education and Power” book series and contributed to understanding the relationship between international education and soft power.
Gultekin’s leadership in educational associations highlights his commitment to enhancing global educational experiences and fostering intercultural understanding. Through his roles and dedication, he brings transformative change to global education, impacting students and academic communities worldwide
