To promote global peace and stability by strengthening and supporting intercultural relations at all levels.
To assist UNESCO to promote culture as an investment in Humanity’s future and sustainable development.
To extend academic research, programs, and practices in the field of cultural diplomacy and education.
To create a platform to promote and sustain intercultural dialogue at all levels.
To analyze education disparities and policies in North/South countries, examine changes and future scenarios in global higher education, and enhance capacity in developing countries’ systems.
Specific Objectives (Short-Term)
To foster advanced teaching and research, to facilitate the exchange of scientists, and to increase the availability of outstanding specialists within the participating institutions.
To establish an international committee of scientists and practitioners that will form the core of the community of interests for the consolidation of interdisciplinary networks of researchers.
To develop academic programs for interdisciplinary graduate and postgraduate studies, conferences, workshops, and seminars in the field of cultural diplomacy and education management related to disciplines and domains.
To facilitate the active participation of the teaching and research staff and students of Istanbul Aydin University, and other partner institutions, in Turkey and abroad, for the implementation of relevant UNESCO activities.
